WHAT
IS A SPECIAL INSPECTION? |
A special inspection is the inspection of just
one particular concern of a client.
The concern could be related to new construction and/or a
pre-existing building concern.
WHAT
ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF A SPECIAL INSPECTION? |
- Customer
is having a new roof installed and is afraid roofing contractor may not be
installing a particular product correctly.

Water intrusion and mold
inspections

Indoor air quality (IAQ) air borne mold and/ or Air conditioning defects.

Building owner has found water and/or termite damage and needs an
evaluation done with a cost to correct.
- Investigate
pipe hammer and or sewer gas smell or other plumbing related problems.
- Supervise
contractor on the installation of swimming pool / Spa.
- Visually
examine and evaluate heating and cooling system
- Represent
Home Owners Association in re-roof project for condominium project.

Represent home owner in dispute with Home Owners Insurance carrier over
repair pricing
WHAT
ARE THE FEES FOR A SPECIAL INSPECTION? |
Normally
the fees are hourly based. The hourly fee is $175.00 per hour billed in
quarter hour increments. Some special exclusion to the rule apply you
should consult with the inspector to determine the fee. Please
