Our Location

The location of the Kona Kai Motel is incredible in its convenience and diversity. One end of our Polynesian village fronts the Periwinkle Way bike path, right in the center of Sanibel's delightful shopping and restaurant corridor; leading to unspoiled world famous shelling beaches via our available bikes. Then deeper toward the back of our property, past our wooden cabana buildings and swimming pool, you find the peace and serenity amongst the wildlife and vegetation of the Olde Sanibel River. Everything you would hope to see at the Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge (one mile away) is here for your pleasure ---- without the crowds; Fish, picnic or relax on the peaceful river bank. For our golfers and boaters the Kona Kai Motel is approximately one mile from two championship golf courses and the Sanibel Island public boat ramp

From RSW Airport:
Start out going North Chamberlin Pkwy toward Paul J Doherty Pkwy. Turn Slight Left onto Paul J Doherty Pkwy. Turn Left onto Daniels Rd. Turn Left onto Six Mile Cypress Pkwy / Ben C Pratt Pkwy (becomes Gladiolus).
Turn Left onto Summerlin Rd. Proceed through Toll booth ($6 per car). Turn Right at Four-Way Stop onto Periwinkle Way. Kona Kai Motel is 1 mile on the left-1539 Periwinkle Way.

From I-75:
Take exit 131 (Daniels Road) towards the beach, turn Left onto Six Mile Cypress Pkwy / Ben C Pratt Pkwy (becomes Gladiolus).
Turn Left onto Summerlin Rd. Proceed through Toll booth ($6 per car). Turn Right at Four-Way Stop onto Periwinkle Way. Kona Kai Motel is 1 mile on the left-1539 Periwinkle Way.
