Over a thousand years ago, humans lived in an age of darkness and ignorance. History was barely recorded if done at all. Many of the major events of european history have been forever forgotten . . .

One of the forgotten events was the Dragon War. For over a hundred years, man fought with the massive beast that was the dragon. Man fears what he does not understand . . . And that ignorance caused this brutal war and the eventual defeat and extinction of the dragon.

One dragon, however, knowing his death was soon at hand, decided to surrender himself to the humans. The humans then imprisoned the dragon and harnessed his strength, using him for forced labor. Some humans began to sympathize with the dragon, affectionately calling him Draco. Still others despised and loathed Draco, plotting to kill him.

Eventually Merlin, the famed wizard, felt it had become necessary to save the draon, for it was sthe last of its kind. Despite Draco's bitter distrust for humans, he agreed to allow merlin to put him to sleep an seal hm away until a day when humans may better understand and CO-exist . . . However this was not Draco's intention . . . His intention was to reign high in a day when humans know nothing of dragons, and he could take them all by surprise. . .

Merlin placed a spell on Draco, putting him to sleep, until he could serve as an indestructible beast . . . The spell saved oly Draco's thoughts and feelings into a poeerful crystal; his body was lost. . . Draco knew he might never se the ight of day from that point. . .

However, that premonition was incorrect. As 500 years passed, humans again found the crystal along with a scroll containing the legend. These men decided the power could be harnessed. Repeating the history of the middle ages, they decided to make the Dragon their slave.

The crystal powered the dragon with a larger body than its original. Draco was alive again . . . Thinking he was indestructible, Draco decided to seek revenge upon humanity. He spared no time in devoiuring the creators of his body and escaping his new inprisonment.

Draco, however, knowing that his death could be soon at hand, fled the far north where man did not venture . . . But, in the sub zero temperatures the dragon fared not much better than man would have, eventuallly losing the use of his legs and feet due to frostbite and soon giving into entirely to the ice where he has been frozen for over a thousand years.

Fast forward to March 21, 2000. Dr. Heinz Metzler and his assistant Dr. Otto Benz Schwartz, both Doctors of Biomechanics, in search for a preserved Neanderthal man, discovered the corpse imbedded and completely preserved, during an expedition to the North Pole. Their hopes to revive and rebuild the Neanderthal man corpse, using Biomechanics, however, was a much larger task. Due to the legs and feet of the dragon had been severely frost bitten before a deep freeze, the whole Biomechanical system had to be refashioned to give the once revived creature mobility. The horrible mistake would soon be realized.

June 13, 2001, Dr. Heinz Metzler and Dr. Otto Benz Schwartz's work is a success!!! Dragonator, as they boldly call it after creatin the ultimate terminator--takes his first breath in the 21st century. Shortly after, though, their success turns into a horrible failure. Dragonator has lived up to his ferocious sounding name when coming back to life, bewildered by his surroundings and new Biomechanical implants, he thrashes around destroying the whole state-of-the-art European facility within hours. Without a Dragonmaster -- he's uncontrollable.

Enraged about the abomination he has become and the fact that these humans wouldn't leave him in the sound dead everlasting sleep he was in, he strikes back at any human who crosses his path. We all are descendants of the people who laid his kind to rest forever.

Dragonator--the 9th Wonder of the World
